Welcome to the Loonscrapper's Blog

Hello fellow scrappers and welcome to the Loonscrapper's Blog. This blog will be used to discuss, educate and share issues and ideas surrounding scrapbooking and/or scrapbooking supplies. The Loonscrapper welcomes any and all feedback so please feel free to give your two cents. As we continue to add stock to the website and edit the look of the site we would love to know how we are doing. If you wouldn't mind critiquing the site it would be greatly appreciated.

For those in the Ottawa area we will be holding an Open House at the end of August. We are still looking for feedback as to whether people would prefer the 22nd or the 29th. If one is preferable please indicate so on the Loonie4scrapbooking group page which you can now access by clicking on the Facebook link on the sites homepage. The Loonscrapper is also on Twitter for those of you who like to "tweet".

We have had requests from "out of towners" to set up a "virtual open house" via webcam and chat rooms. We have looked into the probabilty of this and have learned we can do it. No date is set as of yet but it will likely occur in September 2010.

Sometime this week-end we are going to edit our shipping page to include actual costs for shipping across Canada and the U.S.A. based on weight and size of package.

We have lots we want to do and that we are currently working on. We are putting together the custom kits that will be available within the next 2 weeks. The theme of Augusts kits will be "Outdoor Adventure". Also, the Loonscrapper is pleased to announce she just purchased a Cricut Expression that she wants to play with and explore. Once she plays with it she will provide a review of the product and its functions. Anyone that has one should feel free to share their experiences with the machine. Other topics of discussion to enter in the blog could be Cricut vs. Cuttlebug...who prefers which and why? Personally I would love to know if anyone owns a Cuttlekids and how user friendly is it? Let the blogging begin!
Happy scrapping everyone!
